We alert you before you breach a tier limit, not after the invoice arrives.
Every Heritage Sterling plan includes a usage dashboard that shows your event count, rule evaluations, and API call volume in real time against your tier limits. When you reach 80% of your monthly event quota we send an automatic alert to your account's billing contact. You choose whether to upgrade, throttle ingestion, or simply archive older events to keep within your plan. We never silently charge overage fees — if you hit 100% of your quota, ingestion pauses and you receive an immediate notification. Billing is month-to-month on Starter and Growth; Scale contracts are annual with a 30-day cancellation window at each renewal.

Can I switch plans mid-month?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated to the day. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle so you retain full access for the remainder of the period you have already paid for.
Is VAT included in the listed prices?
Prices shown are exclusive of VAT. Irish-registered customers are charged VAT at the standard rate of 23%. EU business customers outside Ireland who supply a valid VAT number are zero-rated under the reverse-charge mechanism. Non-EU customers are not charged VAT.
Do you offer discounts for annual billing?
Starter and Growth plans billed annually receive a 15% discount versus the monthly equivalent. Annual invoices are issued upfront. Contact our sales team if you want to switch an existing monthly subscription to annual mid-cycle.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards via Stripe. Scale plan customers may request invoice-based payment with 30-day net terms. SEPA Direct Debit is available for EU bank accounts on all plans — contact the billing team to set it up.
